ByBedtime is run by a parent in Orlando, not a support department. There is no phone tree and no ticket number. Email [email protected] and you will get a reply from the person who built it.
“What is BYBEDTIME on my card statement?”
That is us. A ByBedtime membership is $49 per school year for the whole family, billed once a year, and it appears on your statement as BYBEDTIME.
If you do not recognize the charge, please email [email protected] before disputing it with your bank. We can tell you exactly which account it belongs to and refund it the same day if it was a mistake. A dispute takes weeks and we would rather just fix it.
Canceling
You can cancel any time from your account settings, under Billing. No email required, and nothing to ask permission for.
Canceling stops the next renewal and keeps your membership running until the end of the school year you already paid for. You do not lose the time you bought.
Refunds
If the service is not a fit, contact us within seven days of your first charge and we will refund it. That is written into our Terms, not a case-by-case favor.
The free trial runs 14 days and never asks for a card. It starts at your first successful school-data sync, not when you sign up, so setting up early costs you nothing.
The evening email stopped arriving
Two common causes, in order of likelihood:
- It went to spam or Promotions. Search your mail for ByBedtime and mark it “not spam” so the next one lands properly.
- The school connection needs reconnecting. Districts expire parent access periodically. Open your settings: if the connection needs attention, it will say so, and reconnecting takes about a minute.
Worth knowing: on nights when nothing is missing or overdue, there is nothing to send. A quiet inbox is usually good news rather than a fault.
The Canvas pairing code will not work
Pairing codes are single-use and expire quickly. Generate a fresh one from your child's Canvas account immediately before entering it. We also have a longer walkthrough of the usual causes in why a Canvas pairing code stops working.
If your district uses a different system, or the code is rejected repeatedly, email us. Some districts disable pairing codes entirely and we can tell you whether yours is one of them.
Adding another child, or deleting everything
Both live in your account settings. One membership covers every child in your family at no extra cost.
Deletion is real deletion, not a hidden flag: what that means precisely is written out in our Privacy Policy.
